The color of daylight can be specified in LED lighting color temperatures that mimic daylights Kelvin(k) temperature evoking a healthy illuminated space.
The positive effects of mimicking daylight have been associated with circadian rhythm balance, balancing sleep cycle regularity, antidepressive brain chemistry, physical perceived energy levels, growth in plants and human productivity in studies relating LED lighting and overall health and wellness of the built environments.
LED Lighting comes in many shapes, forms, colors and quality of product. Our role as an energy saving professional is to distinguish which methods will best perform for each application we work with. We focus on this role in our niche area of US made LED lighting energy saving solutions so we can be consumed with the best installation solutions and product technology without diverting our attention across the many other modes of energy saving.
We simply want to be the educated clients best choice, for the clients where we can make significant impacts. Our Healthcare projects include a 56 Acre project site in Rye NY. The Osborn, a certified Arboretum housing over 100 varietals of trees is a highly regarded healthcare and extended living care facility with a renown Memory Hope Wing, Physical Therapy Center and post surgical rehabilitation. The Osborn Care facility is operated by tremendous leadership team with a discerning focus on continuous improvement and uninterrupted facility reliability and maintenance. The Osborn focuses their improvements on quality of life of their patients, residents and staff. The Osborn elected to perform campus wide LED Lighting retrofits to improve the energy efficiency and overall quality of lighting. Of particular importance to The Osborn was the correlation of the color temperatures selected with relation to extending the macular health of their elderly population.
We have completed two of three phases of the campus LED Lighting conversions.
The Osborn is ontrack to save over 119,000 annually, upon completion savings estimated to grow to an expected 160,000 per year.
The Osborn has reduced their kwh consumption by 64% in interiors and 86% avg in their garages.
Daylight has been linked with positively affecting balance in mood, productivity, and health.

LED Inspire earned a 42,000 incentive for our client from Con Ed for this garage LED lighting retrofit project.

Meet our Assistant Logistics Coordinator as she heads out to our exterior installation team. Hannah's coordination work includes Supervision of Electrical work, equipment and egress to ensure Safety of facility residents and operating a 45' Aerial Boom Lift to support our exterior installations team. Hannah has previously manned a Bridge on Watch, operated cargo gear, cranes and industrial machinery aboard sea going vessels.
